VIDEO DETAILS
Brenda has been a featured soloist on numerous recordings including The Sacramento Mass Choir, The Chicago Mass Choir "Right Now If You Believe", Isaac and James "Fishers of Men" and Wanda Nero Butler. In 1990 Brenda was the featured soloist at the Bay Area Gospel Music Awards and in 1991 and 1996 was nominated for the award Bay Area Gospel Female Soloist. In 1996, for the summer Olympics in Atlanta, Brenda was the voice of Africa in the Call of the Nations. In 1998, Brenda starred as Victoria in the smash gospel musical "A Street Called Straight". She has also worked with Chuck Colson's Prison Fellowship Ministries which ministers throughout various federal and state correctional institutions.

Her first solo recording "Waiting" found favor with Traditional, Contemporary Christian and Inspirational audiences alike. She continues her ability to appeal to a broad audience with this new release "Somebody Somewhere Was Praying For Me", which is based upon the scripture found in James 5:16 "The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much".

It includes selections penned by Percy Gray (producer of Chicago Mass Choir), and Eric Claybon, well known in the gospel industry. It is currently in rotation on major radio stations across the country, and has become a favorite on XM Satellite and the DMX Music channel as well.

The CD is available in most stores. It can also be purchased or downloaded online at http://cdbaby.com/cd/brendal.
