Hello everyone, it is good to be among you, the citizens of the Kingdom! I’ve been gone for a while, but it has been a necessary hiatus. My wife and I have recently experienced the most profound transition that we have ever gone through in our lives. It has been revolutionary, it has been life changing, it has been affirming, it has been strengthening, it has been enlightening, and it has been transforming. No, we didn’t go to a conference or church gathering, we had an experience with God…live and direct, and it has made such a difference in our lives! It has confirmed and re-affirmed to us what God is commissioning us to do and that is to break the shackles and misconceptions of religion and begin ministering the purpose of Christ, the heart of God, and the power of His Word to our Kingdom brothers and sisters – we have been released into the vineyard with this charge and we will NOT let God down. I will be building a small-scale webpage that will share more detailed information concerning the ministry and I will also be sharing lessons and devotionals in the days to come. I appreciate all of the prayers and concerns, the genuine demonstration of your relationship with our Heavenly Father causes me to feel like this is more like a family than just a social networking site. I love all of you.

Be Encouraged…

Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.

2 Corinthians 4:16-18 (New King James Version)

This message excerpt from Bishop Jones really motivated me to hold to my integrity as a child of God. You may have seen this video clip numerous times on YouTube already but the Word of God is never out of season, and I believe this word is still very relevant on SO MANY levels. Be Blessed.

Romans 8:14-19 (New King James Version)

(14) For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. (15) For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.” (16) The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, (17) and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.

From Suffering to Glory

(18) For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. (19) For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God.

This is an excerpt from the message that God allowed me the opportunity to minister today (10/21/07) – I will have the audio of the full message streaming to my page in a couple of days.

Luke 10:1-4 (New King James Version)

1 The Lord now chose seventy-two other disciples and sent them ahead in pairs to all the towns and places he planned to visit. 2 These were his instructions to them: “The harvest is great, but the workers are few. So pray to the Lord who is in charge of the harvest; ask him to send more workers into his fields. 3 Now go, and remember that I am sending you out as lambs among wolves. 4 Don’t take any money with you, nor a traveler’s bag, nor an extra pair of sandals. And don’t stop to greet anyone on the road.

Before Jesus sent the disciples, He needed them to know the purpose of the mission (verse 2); He gave them power and authority to accomplish the mission (verse 3); and Jesus showed the disciples how to trust Him and walk consecrated (verse 4).

*(verse 2): Jesus teaches the disciples that if they want the mission accomplished that they have to address it directly and call it out specifically in prayer, because in prayer is where you connect (not with your purpose) but the purpose.

*(verse 3): Jesus, who was the sacrificial lamb that took away the sins of the world, now sends the disciples “as lambs among wolves”. Jesus Christ has anointed us to suffer for His glory. [1 Peter 4:12-14 NKJV] 12 Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you; 13 but rejoice to the extent that you partake of Christ’s sufferings, that when His glory is revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy. 14 If you are reproached for the name of Christ, blessed are you, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you. On their part He is blasphemed, but on your part He is glorified.

*(verse 4): We can not say that we trust God to take us to our purpose if we prepare an “if not” plan just in case He doesn’t. God is not the author of confusion so He can not be glorified if we don’t keep Him sanctified. Moses was forbidden to enter into the Promised Land because he failed to keep God sanctified in the eyes of the people. So if we say that we trust God then no matter what comes to shake my foundation I will trust in God.

In the second part of verse 4 Jesus gives this instruction also; “Don’t take any money with you, nor a traveler’s bag, nor an extra pair of sandals. And don’t stop to greet anyone on the road.” Now, wouldn’t that just be rude? I’m on a mission for Jesus Christ but I’m not supposed to stop and talk to anyone? The reason why Jesus gave this instruction is because the Jewish greetings were very formal, hypocritical, and consumed a lot of time. Some studies say that these ceremonial greetings often took one to three hours to complete. The disciples were not to consume their precious time with these formalities, nor did Jesus wish them to go through with foolish and insincere practices but preferred that they walk consecrated. It is the same concept when Christians try to mingle and exchange business cards with the so-called “who’s who” in the body of Christ when they should be focused on perfecting their call to the work of the ministry.
