How was you baptize?

St. Matthew 28:19, "Go ye therefore and teach all nations baptizing them in the Name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost"

or

Acts 2:38. "Repent and be Baptized every one of you, in the Name of Jesus Christ for the Remission of Sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost".

Which is true? And why? Or I 'm not sure how I was baptize.

Firsit off I want to say Thanks for the form topic post, very good topic. Both scriptures are ture. We as believers in God following the ways and teachings of our lord and saver Jesus Christ are to teach the world and help reconcile them with the father. Baptism is done in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost and the laying aside every thing that is not holy or godly is recommended for the process of being a holy rightous example. The people in todays world look at the outter living of man/woman rather than the inner hearts, so it does all believers justice to repent or turn away from their old ways of living and follow after what is right, pure and true.

 Again Great form topic,

Stay blessed and remain encouraged!!!!!!!!!!!

"Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer." ~Psalm 19:14~

The two ways are one,the Bible never contradicts itself. Jesus said when you see me you see the father, Jesus was God in the flesh, and just as we as fleshly bodies have names, that was the name chosen for God in the flesh, and the Holy Spirit is Gods Spirit, and the three are one. So either way if it's one of the two,you were still baptised in the name of Jesus.
