There is absolutely nothing wrong with a "Girl Drummer". See? I play drums as well. I have been sort of out of practice lately. Just preaching, prophesying and lying on of hands, know what I mean?

It reminds me of growing up in the C.O.G.I.C. denomination and there were female bass, drums, organs, guitars, keyboards, trumpets, and all other instrumentations in the Church.

In the days of Jazz Clubbing I had the pleasure of meeting some awesome female musicians such as "Sheila E", "Patrice Rushin" and others. When I tell you those women could put it down like no body's business as a matter of speaking, Wow! They could really play. As a matter of fact, my Aunt Sarah Mclawler – Kimes is a legend in music; you can pull her up on YouTube.

In closing, I realize the struggle some ladies have in dealing with strong opposition because of their love for sports or certain band instruments. Most people automatically deem them to be "lesbian”; God forbid!

Needless to say, we both know that envy will cause a pair of lips to utter nearly anything stupid. Amen? So, it behooves me to encourage you to keep up the "Wood shedding" and be the very best! Hold fast that pocket and throw in a lick here or there, it is inevitable that everyone must take notice of your drive. (LOL)
