Father give them the knowledge wisdom and understanding to take on the challenges of the world. And let them know that they are a survivor. They called me friend

When I think about I know I cant lose

For a friend is family we get to chose

So just like a sibling they get away with a lot

Their back is something they know I got

No matter the circumstances they can do no wrong

I would lie down my life before I allow them harm

My clothes off my back the food out my mouth

The warmth of my bed the comfort of my house

I will deny my friends nothing for it is not my way

They will remain my friend until my dying day

So if you count Jesus as one you can count me as another

For I am a fiend that sticketh closer than a brother

The Doors of the Church are Open come on in

The wise no need of council the well have no need of a physician

The wealthy no need of a handout and the content no need of position

The righteous no need of saving and the perfect don’t require grace

And those that have seen it all rarely seek his face

Those that feel they have all the answer seem so unwilling to share

Those that have squandered mercy are only seeking what is fair

Those that have the gold seem to feel they make the rules

And those that are on the rise feel those beneath are all fools

Some have never cried although I find that heard to believe

And then there are those that if you cut them they would never bleed

But I have learned of a number that I can never count

Because the line is long and there are repeaters in they amount

Who are seeking one thing besides the master’s face

They are seeking out a blessing at his throne of grace

And for this number all bad things will past

For the last shall be first and the first shall be last
