First let me say that I am on here to represent my Lord and savior Jesus Christ. You won’t find a bunch of flashy words, raunchiness, attitude,or fly way on here to try to tell you who I am or what I small mindedly think I'm about. I’m a very humble & meek woman of God and I allow He that's within me to proclaim ALL that I am. I desire to be a Proverbs 31 woman and encourage every woman to aspire the same. I find it a powerful privilege to not only say to you that I’m a Christian but to actually know within my soul that I am one. There is nothing worse than seeing someone live anyway ALL week except on Sunday. Speaking for God in a spiritual venue but living worldly in secular venues. Praise and Worship is a daily thing. I’m not saying to you that I’m perfect, because I’m far from perfect. What I’m saying to you is that I desire to be like Christ. That I have sacrificed my will for God's salvation. That I’m not who I use to be and I’m still not who I’ve been called to be but when I do, I will come forth as pure Gold.
About me???? I encourage you to read the excerpt on my book's website for a glimpse into that answer. I went from a widow at the early age of 21, and have endured many other travesties, to being REDEEMED by the grace and mercy of God. I know what its like to want to give up literally, but be kept by God. I lost my mom last year to lung cancer and it was the most devastating loss of my life. Her legacy lives on through my love, my children, and my life.
I have 3 beautiful kingdom sons and a baby on the way.
My heroes are Jesus himself and my Mommy Sharon A. Poteat R.I.P 1945-2007
My motivation is my husband and my 3 princes of God: Jah’Mir, Toma’rez,and Braelyn.
. I’m so thankful for my marriage and our family. God is definitely still in the blessing business!!! This is nothing but favor.
My gifts are many. But I’m learning to master the gift of writing and poetry. I”ve been a performance poet for 5 years now. I’ve done slams and have performed at many different venues. God has transitioned my writing tremendously. Before I just use to write about things, now I write for edification. I’m so frustrated with hearing women especially touch the mic with sexual writings that they thing are cool but only foolishly exploits themselves and their bodies. I’m speaking of the ones who will tell you how many ways from yesterday they can spread their legs instead of their minds. I’ve been there boo, when I was living ungodly and having boyfriends and sex that amounted to nothing more than another person I lost a piece of myself to. That I gave me to that was not called to not be my husband. Now all I can do is look at with regret. Yes, I’ve repented and have been forgiven but that does not erase for me the fact that I did it. Promoting whoremongerism in the bottomline is all that it is. I don’t know if that’s a word, but when you’re a wordsmith you tend to make up words from time to time. Lol.
Lets get our youth out the streets, from killing one another, selling drugs, and speak ourselves out of depression,oppression, financial stress, mental stress, and every single plague from the enemy. Lets take back our lives and control.
