Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,
Do you want God to blot out America or would you like Him to bless America ?
I have been praying and will continue to pray for the leaders of this nation, especially in these perilous times we live in. My prayer is that God would get a hold of this nation, its people and its leaders. I hope that as in 2Chroncles 7:14, where God states that if His people, which are called by His name will humble themselves and pray, seek His face, and turn from their wicked ways, then He would hear us from Heaven forgive our sin and heal our land. Herein lies the only real solution for all this nation’s problems. God has promised that He would heal all of the wounds of a nation where people humble themselves, turn from wickedness and seek His face. In a similar way, Jesus echoed the theme of this promise in Matthew 6:33, when He stated that if would seek His Kingdom and His righteousness that God would add all the things to us making us whole. In the book of wisdom, God spoke through Solomon, saying that it is (His) Righteousness that exalts a nation, but sin will bring reproach upon the people. During this election period I have heard many long, rehearsed, eloquent speeches that ended with a politician saying “may God bless America ”. However, how many of these same politicians who would like God’s blessing to come upon this nation, have planned or proposed legislation that is contrary to God’s stated prerequisites for blessing a nation.
Before I continue, let me stop for a moment to interject. This letter is only intended for those who sincerely want to do what’s right in God’s sight. Only for the true believer and follower of Christ/Messiah. If you are not even 100% sure that you believe, then please stop reading now. However, if you are a true believer “and” follower of Christ please read on. I believe that the fate and destiny of this nation depends on our response as followers of Christ or lack there of.
Now that you have willingly decided to read on, I want you to make sure you read the suggested scriptures from the Bible after you read this letter so that you will be convinced that this is not the opinion of a man, but it is from the mind of God.
Again the reason that you are receiving this letter is because many people believe that the fate of the nation will be decided for the next 4 years. How So? Recently, we witnessed one of the greatest signs of progress in this nation, since the beginning of the civil rights movement. A black man was nominated at the Democratic national convention to campaign to be the next president of the United States . It was a very emotional and moving moment for many, to say the least. However, while many were rejoicing over the progress of America and over this candidate, there were many people who were very disturbed by what this nominee represents. We were not saddened because this candidate was a black man who represents black people, but rather we were disturbed because of the immoral values he represents, especially since he claims Jesus Christ as His savior.
In this letter I will not address every issue or idea he represents, I will only address three of his stated top priorities if he wins the office of president of the United States .
The following are three things the presidential hopeful plans to do if he is elected to office:
He plans to enact hate crime legislation, which has been opposed by true followers of Christ. Why? Because the hate crime legislation which he already voted for twice as U.S. senator will make it illegal to preach against the sin of homosexuality. As a result of this type of legislation, people who speak out against homosexuality as sin can be fined and thrown in jail. As a matter of fact, right now in the state of Colorado it is illegal to speak against homosexuality and even books which portray it as sin are now outlawed.
Secondly, this historical democratic nominee plans to repeal DOMA, which stands for the Defense Of Marriage Act that has been passed by most states. If DOMA is repealed it would be mandated that all 50 states recognize homosexual marriages and give them equal benefit and treatment as real marriages between men and women (even if they were “married” in a different state). This candidate has also stated that he believed that we would be doing the will of God to grant homosexuals equal rights and privileges.
Thirdly, he strongly supports abortion, even the horrendous practice of partial birth abortion, in which a doctor delivers the head (only) of a baby, holds the baby in place and cuts open the back of the baby’s head and neck and sucks out its brain matter. (Yes I know that is gross but I thought I would make sure people who vote for him know what they are supporting). Not only did he vote for continuing the practice of partial birth abortion, but he also voted against saving the life of a baby that actually survives an abortion (which happens occasionally). In other words, he voted to kill the baby after it is fully born and out of the womb if it survives an abortion.
So to vote for the nominated democratic candidate this time around means:
We are voting for laws that will cause true followers of Christ to be fined and thrown in jail for using their right to free speech to preach the Bible, which is God’s Word.
We would be voting to stabilize and protect gay marriage in the U.S. , which means we are following the footsteps of Sodom and Gomorrah .
We would be voting to continue to shed the innocent blood of unborn and even born babies (who survive an abortion).
From the beginning of his campaign, the main message of this candidate has been change. Although he has stated many things that he would like to change, included among those changes are some policies that will make preaching against homosexual sins illegal, protect gay rights and assist gay marriage, and also promote abortion. What makes this candidate even more questionable is that he claims to be a Christian and claims Jesus is His savior.
Although many people have perhaps been unaware, the Bible also speaks of the spirit of the anti-Christ (which means against Christ and His followers) as one who comes from a claimed Christian background (1John; Daniel 7:25 ; Daniel 11:32 ***). It is also stated that the intent of the spirit of the anti-Christ is to work against Christ’s followers by intending to “CHANGE” times and laws. In other words, his plan against true believers is to first flatter the people and then change the laws, to make our beliefs and expressions of those beliefs illegal. Am I saying that this candidate is the anti-Christ? No, but I believe that he is being led and influenced by the spirit of the anti-Christ, who will also come forth with flattery and a message of “CHANGE.”
What should we do as believers? Follow 2Chronicles 7:14 ; fast and pray for the leaders of this nation; study and obey God’s 10 Commandments and work to make sure they are also established as the standard for this nation.
I know there are many who support abortion, because of women’s rights. I truly support women’s rights, but I also support the right of babies to have life. By the way, women do have the right of choice. They can choose to abstain from sexual relations until married. In the Old Testament, God’s people didn’t have this problem. Why? Because they stoned (and killed) the adulterers and the fornicators. Did you know that over 47 million children have been murdered by way of abortion in this nation? How dare we promote and exalt our lust over life. (I do however realize that there are additional health threats and other reasons that some women have abortions. However, let me assure you that the majority of those 47 million abortions were not due to incest, rape, complications with a pregnancy, etc…) Do not be deceived, God is not mocked, the word of God promises that God will judge and remove from power any nation that promotes sexual immorality and is willing to murder innocent children so they can continue immorality.
Now I am not a biased voter? My political views are to always be in line with the Kingdom of God , not with republican or democrat. In fact, I know that we absolutely must win the lost with the love of God and teach them how to live right. On that note, I will also write an article addressing the republican party as well. Until then pray, pray, pray, preach, preach, preach. Because the future of this nation depends on God’s people, not the republicans or democrats.
No I'm not saying that McCain is the answer. At this point I haven't decided how I am going to vote. At this point neither one is the answer, unless they have a change of heart and really turn to God. As a matter of fact, the whole point of the email was to inform people as to what is going on and to hopefully provoke them to prayer. My next article will be shed light on the republican party in light of the Word of God. I am going to release that one next week after the Republican National Convention. So don't worry, I am not trying to get people to vote democrat or republican. I am hoping I can inspire this generation to side with the Kingdom on all the issues. Especially, on those issues which could cause God to judge the nation.
By the way, this country may not have much of a future if we don't side with God on the right issues.
