Okay, so here's a little about me:
- My name is Renee, which literally means "reborn", and it's actually very fitting because....
- I'm a born-again believer in Jesus the Christ. I'm not perfect by anyone's estimation, but I'm serious about this thing, yall. It's not a game. I'm not saying that I'm a Christian because it's "sounds good". I am a true child of God, striving to be about my father's business. Yes, it is a struggle and my flesh isn't usually a willing participant, but my spirit is willing and always working to put my flesh in submission. I hope to network with others who are also in the struggle, whether they need or can offer encouragement. Ya heard?
- I love animals, namely dogs. I have a female pitt and she is my buddy for LIFE.
- I love my family. I always look forward to spending time with them (and I may even start one of my own some day).
- I'm a math nerd. Some people do word-searches and crossword puzzles. I write proofs and study math theorems.
- Linguistics is very interesting to me. If you think politics and religion are the only two universal "hot buttons", think again. There are some topics concerning language that would pit a room of people against one another--and most folk don't even realize this until confronted with the issue/topic.
- Because I'm a Christian, I'm "supposed" to read the Bible, but I no longer read out of duty/obligation. I now understand the Word and enjoy the deep truths found therein. Talk about something being "deep"! I love studying the scriptures. There is always an interesting point or truth to ponder. There are some passages I've read over and over, but I find a new perspective from which to view the information each time. God's Word is truly life-changing. It's better than any self-help book on the market.
- I'm currently a senior in college, working towards my B.S. in Business Administration.
- I like electronics.
- I have conservative political views--especially on social issues.
- I'm silly, goofy, and love to laugh.
- I like listening to the "Strawberry Letters" on the Steve Harvey Morning Show. If you've never heard them before, you need to CLICK HERE NOW!!!!
- I have this useless talent where I can fold my ear inside out.
- I HATE pumping gas when it's really cold outside.
- Okay, my list is getting real stupid because I can't think of anything else to say right now. I'll try to think of more to add later.
