I am the oldest of 5. One sister, Melanie and 3 brothers, Dave, Ray, and Fred. I am the proud sister of Fred Hammond. Dave and his wife Lisa work with the Praise and Worship team at Hope Aglow Empowerment Center in the D.C. area and they also sing with Fred from time to time. Raymond owns his own sound and lighting company in Dallas. Melanie records as a vocalist with a number of artist in the ATL. We’re all involved in music.
Although we didn’t grow up together we all came from one heart. My Mom told me she was very proud of us all. She loved us and desired for us to be close as brothers and sisters should be.

I am the mother of 4, two of my own, Philip and Nicole and 2 stepchildren, David and Yolanda and one grandchild, Deja, so far. It makes no difference, they’re all mine and I love them so.

My sister and I were born in Weirton, WV to Joe and Mildred who were both musicians and singers. Music is engrafted in my DNA, all kinds. Joe and Mildred divorced before I was 2 and I grew up on/in/under the pew listening to choirs as my father directed choirs for different churches. My sister and I learned harmony when we were 3 & 4 yrs. old and I find it hard to hear a song w/out it. I remember as a little girl one of the songs Melanie and I learned to sing was Too Be Used By God, by James Cleveland I believe.

I traveled with a group called the Ohio Movement for several years singing up and down the east coast before moving to Las Vegas to stake my claim to fame. In Vegas I encountered God and became His child.

I returned to Ohio by way of God’s plan and married Bill, a great musician. He plays a variety of instruments, writes, arranges, and produces in his own studio. We will soon celebrate our 25th anniversary hopefully on a tropical island or cruise.

I've had the honor of working with my husband over the years. I've served as the choir director at Diamond Hill Cathedral for 7 years and than moved to Cleveland, TN where I served as a praise team and choir member with Church of the Harvest. I had the unique experience to travel on tour with Phil Driscoll a number of times and record with him also. My favorite cd of his,"Live with Friends".
I also had the opportunity to serve with the P/W team and choir of Free Chapel where I also served with my husband as interim choir director and Music Asst. for several years.
Bill and I have now launched out to do consultation work with churches in the North GA area working with their music dept., which is an experience and a blessing.

My family and I continue as members of Free Chapel with Pastor Jentezen Franklin. He is one of the greatest anointed pastors in America today with the honor of being the pastor of two of the greatest churches in the nation.

I love the Lord and desire to fulfill the plan He has for my life. I want to be well spoke of at the end of my life making sure He gets all the glory.
